Coming up on Africa News Tonight: Burkina Faso’s 2014 Ousted president Blaise Compaore Friday was in attendance of a reconciliation summit led by junta leader Paul-Henri Damiba which was snubbed by former leaders Isaac Zida and Michel Kafando; Ghanaian health authorities Friday confirmed two fatal cases of Marburg virus, a relative of the Ebola virus, adding this is the first two confirmed cases in the West African nation.

The US Departments of State and Justice recently launched EMPoWER: “The Engaging Multinational Policewomen on Equality and Rights Program,” aimed at promoting and training women in law enforcement and counterterrorism efforts around the world.
