Sonny Side of Sports
VOA officially begins its 80th anniversary celebrations today (Feb. 1). Sonny says one of his biggest sporting thrills was meeting his boyhood hero, former world heavyweight boxing champion Smokin' Joe Frazier, at our VOA headquarters in Washington in 2006. Tuesday's show, much like Smokin' Joe's legendary left hook, packs some punch! There are Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) football reports from Moki Edwin Kindzeka and Samson Omale, who are both in Cameroon, plus much more.
