On Wednesday's show, Sonny salutes Ugandan athlete Jacob Kiplimo, who won the gold medal in the men's 10,000m final at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. Kiplimo clocked a Games record time of 27 minutes and 9.19 seconds, finishing ahead of three Kenyans and a South African. Also on the program, Sonny remembers Vin Scully, one of Major League Baseball's most revered broadcasters, who died Tuesday at the age of 94. Scully did play-by-play announcing for the Los Angeles Dodgers for a record 67 years. Sonny will include special archive audio from Scully from 1957, when the Dodgers were based in New York.
