Coming Up on Africa News Tonight Tensions continue to rise between the Democratic Republic of Congo and neighboring Rwanda following allegations that Kigali recently deployed 500 troops on Congolese soil, an allegation piled on previous that allege Rwanda is backing the M23 rebel group which has caused chaos in the Central African nation; Somalia has inaugurated Hassan Sheikh Mohamud as its 10th president in a colorful ceremony attended by hundreds, among them Kenyan, Ethiopian and Djibouti leaders.

"The Energetic" Andy Edwards catches up with Olympic hurdles champion Hansle Parchment of Jamaica on Thursday's show. The 31-year-old Parchment will talk technique and what it takes to be a world-class hurdler. Also on the program, Sonny has an update on the African Athletics Championships in Mauritius. Team South Africa tallied two gold medals on the opening day of action in Mauritius, and both came in field events.
