Coming Up on Africa News Tonight: Tunisia’s main labor union UGTT brought the north African nation to a grinding halt after union members went on strike which impacted public transport and pushed flights to be cancelled; World Health Organization officials say the global aid agency is procuring thousands of monkeypox tests for Africa to ensure the continent has fair access to vaccines should the need arise.

Gabby won two medals at last year's Tokyo Olympics, and she says the competition in Eugene "will be great for athletics in America" and she expects "some blazing performances." Africa News Tonight - Tanzania Maasai Evacuated From Ngorongoro; U.N. Reports 89,9 Million Displaced in 2021
Coming Up on Africa News Tonight: Tanzania began relocating the indigenous Maasai community from the Ngorongoro conservation reserve where they have lived for over a century arguing the growing Maasai population is a threat to wildlife habitat; United Nation’s Refugee Agency released their annual global trends report which states that in 2021 a record 83,9 million people were displaced from their homes by war, violence, persecution and human rights abuses.
