Cowens is celebrating his 74th birthday. He won two NBA titles with the Boston Celtics and was named the league's Most Valuable Player in 1973. Tuesday also marks 26 days to the kick-off of the FIFA World Cup football tournament in Qatar. Tourism officials in the country promise fans will be treated to very pleasant weather and unique experiences inside and outside stadiums. VOA's Gwen Outen has a feature.
