Trump flips Georgia Red, reclaims state
President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday evening defeated his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris and in the process reclaimed the U.S. state of Georgia, one of the key areas that helped the Republican nominee win the presidency. In 2020, Trump lost the election in Georgia to President Joe Biden. For insight on how people in Georgia are reacting to Trump’s victory, Esther Githui-Ewart spoke with Anthony LaBruto who was in the southern swing state.
