President-elect Donald Trump on Tuesday evening defeated his Democratic rival, Vice President Kamala Harris and in the process reclaimed the U.S. state of Georgia, one of the key areas that helped the Republican nominee win the presidency. In 2020, Trump lost the election in Georgia to President Joe Biden.
