Nigerian police could ask for the help of the military to quell violent protests
Violent protests in some Nigerian cities Thursday have left at least three people dead. People who took to the streets in Abuja and Kano witnessed police forces clashed with demonstrators looting stores and businesses. As protests are expected to continue, the police may seek the help of the military. Timothy Obiezu provides us with more information.
