Calm is returning to Bukavu in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo after M23 fighters entered the city and two deadly explosions. The M23 rebel movement has ordered schools to resume operations after a brief suspension following their takeover. Rwanda is accused of backing the rebels, a charge the M23 denies. VOA’s Paul Ndiho spoke to Fabien Mweze, the secretary general of the Center of Political and Strategic Studies in Bukavu, for more on how the rebel group is impacting daily life in the city.
