Somalia’s parliament has elected former President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud following marathon voting in Mogadishu on Sunday. The election was a rematch of the 2017 election between outgoing President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo and his immediate predecessor, Mohamud.
