The United Nations reports more than 350,000 people have been devastated by the worst floods to hit Congo Brazzaville in six decades and urgently need humanitarian assistance. The Intergovernmental Authority on Development has called for a cease-fire in Sudan and also urged Ethiopia to respect the territorial sovereignty of Somalia.
