Local favorite AS Douanes will host ABC Fighters of Ivory Coast in Saturday's opening game of the men's Basketball Africa League (BAL) in Dakar, Senegal. The Fighters are led by the Australian Liz Mills, who last year was head coach of the Moroccan team AS Sale in the BAL. On Tuesday's show, Coach Mills talks about how the Fighters have a good mindset as they prepare for their debut BAL season. The Voice of America will be broadcasting the BAL games on radio in five languages: English, French, Bambara, Portuguese and Kinyarwanda.
