Africa News Tonight - Ethiopian lawmakers have voted to remove a terrorist designation from Tigray’s main political party, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), four months after a peace deal ended their deadly two-year civil war. Nigeria's two main opposition leaders have filed petitions seeking to cancel results from last month's disputed presidential election, beginning what could be a legal battle lasting several months. And, Uganda's Parliament has overwhelmingly passed a new bill that critics say will further entrench abuses of gay people by banning same-sex relationships and criminalizing homosexuality.
