World Health Assembly Begins in Geneva
The Seventy-seventh World Health Assembly kicks off on Monday May 27th in Geneva, Switzerland. The theme of this year’s meeting is ‘All for Health, Health for All.’ The Africa-Europe Foundation, the Pandemic Action Network, and Resilience Action Network Africa will hold a panel discussion during the event that will delve into innovative financing solutions for tackling global emergencies like climate change and pandemics, exacerbated by COVID-19, conflicts, and extreme weather. VOA’s Linord Moudou spoke to Paul Walton, the Executive Director of the Africa-Europe Foundation, for more on what his organization is expecting to accomplish while at the conference.
