The four-day Women Deliver 2023 Conference is currently taking place in Kigali, Rwanda, focusing on prioritizing gender equality, technological innovation and youth advancement programs. Supporters of the conference include the private sector and grassroots advocates. Senior technical advisor of Corus International, Noshaba Zafar, leads sexual and gender-based violence prevention, mitigation, and response efforts for the organization. Zafar joined VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart to talk about programs to end gender-based violence among other issues.
