Washington DC heads to polls for early voting
Early voting in Washington DC, the nation's capital, begins today, October 28 through November 3. Residents of the District of Columbia can vote in person before Election Day or choose to vote on Tuesday, November 5. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to VOA’s Paul Ndiho live from Downtown Washington D.C. for a live look into the first day of early voting.
