Vatican says Pope Francis had peaceful night as the faithful pray for his recovery.
The Vatican updated Catholics and Christian worshippers around the world that "the night passed peacefully" for Pope Francis who has been hospitalized at Rome's Gemelli hospital, and that he "rested" early Sunday morning. This follows Saturday's update from the Vatican Press Office which described the 88-year-old pontiff's condition as "critical" and cautioned that he "is not out of danger." Around the world, from the Vatican in Rome to Kenya, faithful worshippers have been praying for his recovery.
