Leaders’ Summit Opening for US-Sierra Leone Bilateral Relations: Foreign Minister
Observers say this week's meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio is a significant milestone in the strong bilateral relationship between Washington and Freetown. Sierra Leone Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, David John Francis, says the talks will help boost private U.S. investments that will create jobs and opportunities in Sierra Leone. VOA's Peter Clottey spoke with David John Francis on the sidelines of the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit, which ended Thursday.
