US President Trump orders halt to Foreign Corrupt Practices Act
Following US President Donald Trump’s February 10th executive order revising guidelines to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977, Attorney General Pam Bondi has halted enforcement of the act until new guidance is issued. The law specifically forbids United States citizens from bribing officials to enhance economic competitiveness.
