US president-elect Trump’s government tasked with advancing US-Africa relations
Political experts say the next U.S. government led by president-elect Donald Trump will have to intensify its focus on strengthening U.S.-Africa relations to prevent nations like China and Russia from increasing their influence on the Continent. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke with Dennis Matanda, an adjunct professor of American politics and international business at Catholic University on what a second Trump presidency would mean for US-Africa relations.
