US Fashion Entrepreneur Collaborates with African Artisans
LaShawn Kenley, the founder of "Sun Gods," a U.S.-based fashion company with roots in Africa and the Caribbean, is using her platform to produce products that are mutually generating an income with African artisans. Kenley recently visited Voice of America, where she sat down with Mike Hove to expound on the works of Sun Gods and how her collaborations are promoting African culture.
