Technology Report: Providing School Internet Access in Rural Ghana
More than 37% of the world’s population remains without reliable access to the internet, according to the International Telecommunication Union. In Ghana, the Open Foundation West Africa is aiming to lower that statistic by providing educational programs through its wireless software programs. VOA's Paul Ndiho spoke with Ruby Damenshie Brown, the foundation's senior program officer, about the strides her company is making to educate children online.
