Sudanese Women Spotlight Impacts of SAF, RSF Conflict
Sudanese women of various backgrounds recently gathered in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, to discuss the ongoing conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces, SAF and the Rapid Support Forces, RSF, that has ravaged their country the past seven months. With no end in sight, the women say they feel their voices have been silenced and yearn to contribute to resolving the conflict that has killed thousands and displaced millions since April 15. VOA’s Nairobi Bureau Chief Mariama Diallo attended the gathering and filed this report.
