Sudan’s military leader, Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Thursday was among the African leaders who addressed the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. He used his keynote address to condemn the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, RSF, the nation’s rival army, for the ongoing conflict that has claimed over 20,000 lives and left at least 33,000 people injured in the northeast African nation.
