Sudan’s Continued War Worsens Humanitarian Crisis
The French medical charity Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) says inadequate response to medical needs is worsening an already ‘’catastrophic’’ situation in major cities in Sudan. MSF is calling for humanitarian organizations to increase their response and for the warring parties to allow unhindered access. For more insight into the humanitarian situation in Sudan, VOA South Sudan in Focus managing editor John Tanza spoke to Claire Nicolet, Médecins Sans Frontières' Deputy Head of Emergencies in Sudan in the town of Wad Madani.
