Sudan Conflict Displaced 4.3 Million People
At least twenty United Nations and other international organizations are calling for an end to sexual violence and atrocities being committed in Sudan against civilians and demanding respect for human rights during the four-month mark of a war that has led to food shortages, deaths and untold suffering. For more on the Sudan conflict and humanitarian crisis, VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Fred Mccray, senior director humanitarian assistance at Corus International.
