South African Officials Prepare for Upcoming Elections
South Africa’s Independent Electoral Commission is beginning to coordinate its upcoming general election, in which the African National Congress (ANC) is expected to lose an outright majority in the country’s parliament for the first time since the end of apartheid rule in 1994. Reporter Thuso Khumalo spoke to election officials on how they are preparing for a free, fair and credible vote.
