Some Haitians in Diaspora Reject UN Resolution to Send Kenya-Led Multinational Police Force
Some Haitians in New York protested in front of the Kenyan embassy Friday, rejecting the approval of a United Nations Security Council resolution to send a Kenya-led international police force to Haiti. The police force is expected to be deployed to the Caribbean nation with a mandate to aid in the fight against ongoing gang violence in the country. VOA’s Valerio Saint Louis spoke to some demonstrators.
