Journalist: Sierra Leone Cyber Security Law Could Infringe on Press Freedom
World Press Freedom Day was marked on May 3 highlighting the importance of a free press. The United Nations says though strides have been made, press freedom continues to be under threat. Ahmed Sahid Nasralla, president of the Sierra Leone Journalist Association (SLJA), tells VOA major improvements have been made in Sierra Leone, but a 2021 cyber security law could infringe on press freedom. He spoke to VOA’s Jackson Mvunganyi.
