Senegal’s President-Elect Begins First Term
Senegal's president-elect, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, was inaugurated at the country's national conference center in Diamniadio on Tuesday, the same day outgoing president Macky Sall's mandate ended. For the latest in what the new president hopes to accomplish in his first term, VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to VOA Nairobi Bureau Chief Mariama Diallo live from Dakar, Senegal.
