Report finds elections in some parts of Africa prompt internet restrictions
Global internet freedom has declined for the 14th consecutive year, according to Freedom House's Freedom on the Net 2024 report. VOA's Philp Alexiou spoke with researcher Elizabeth Sutterlin, who focused on the rapid series of elections worldwide, particularly in Africa, where restrictions on internet access are on the rise.
