In Morocco, the damage caused by the most powerful earthquake to hit the North African country in over 100 years has caused unimaginable destruction. VOA’s Anthony Labruto spoke to Mehrdad Sasani, a professor of civil engineering at Northeastern University, on why the earthquake was so devastating to remote areas and how authorities should rebuild going forward.
