Palestinian president addresses UNGA, brings Gaza war to forefront
Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas was among the leaders who addressed Thursday’s session of the United Nations General Assembly. He used his keynote speech to highlight the plight of his people whose lives have been upended by the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas militants.
