Nigerian American Promotes African Creatives
Folasade Ogunmokun, the founder of "Unskrypted TV," a streaming platform focused on promoting black content producers is using her platform to create an international market for African movie makers by linking them to the diaspora. The Nigerian American creative uses her streaming service to create an ecosystem where content creators work with businesses to cross promote products - while making an income. For more, Ogunmokun recently sat down with VOA’s Mike Hove where she unpacked the works of "Unskrypted TV" and addressed gender equality in her industry which is predominantly led by older white men.
