Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso Leave ECOWAS Bloc
Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso on Sunday announced that they would be withdrawing from West Africa’s regional Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS bloc — developments happening amid increased calls by the international community to have the military led governments return to civilian rule.
