Netanyahu Says No Cease-Fire Until Israeli Hostages are Freed
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remained steadfast in his ruling out of a temporary cease-fire in Gaza until hostages held by the Hamas militant group are released. Israeli troops have continued their aerial bombardments and ground incursion of Gaza, as they seek to eliminate Hamas targets responsible for the October 7 attack on Israel.
