Namibian Opposition Leaders Halt Campaigning Until Former President Is Buried
Panduleni Itula, president of Namibia’s opposition Independent Patriots for Change says former President Hage Geingob, who died on Sunday at age 82, was a “patriotic statesman who believed in building his country.” The opposition leader also said his political party will show respect to Geingob by halting all campaign activities until the deceased leader is buried.
