Mozambique polls open, ruling party candidate expected to win
Millions of Mozambicans Wednesday headed to the polls to vote in an election that political analysts say will likely result in a victory for Daniel Chapo, a lawyer and fresh face for the nation’s long-ruling Frelimo party, as President Filipe Nyusi prepares to step down after serving two terms in office.
