Malawi Embarks on GMO Trials to Curb Hunger and Pests
Malawi has embarked on trials of genetically modified maize focused on curbing hunger and pests such as armyworms and caterpillars. The trials come despite concerns of possible effects that genetically modified organisms, GMOs, have on health and the environment.
