Kenyan Bus Owners Turn to Graffiti for Profit
Michael Macharia, a Kenyan graffiti artist said he is using his talent to make a living by spray painting public buses and vans that are popularly known in the East African nation as “matatus.” Macharia says his clientele has expanded and has been paid up to $1,000 for his artwork by bus owners who allege that his skill has helped them attract more clients.
