Kenya Tech NGO Empowers Rural Children
2022 CNN “Hero of the Year,” Nelly Cheboi’s Techlit Africa is working to empower rural children with a highly transferable skill: computer literacy. Her Kenya-based non-profit collects old laptops from institutions and companies to refurbish and teach school children in remote communities IT and coding skills.
