Kenya Signs International Labor Agreements
Kenya’s government is hoping to increase its $4 billion in annual remittances and create international employment opportunities for its citizens through recently signed labor agreements with Canada, Germany, the United States and Gulf nations such as Saudi Arabia – a development that has left advocates for workers’ rights warning of Kenyans experiencing exploitation and abuse abroad.
