Rwandan President Paul Kagame Friday concluded a two day-long diplomatic trip to Tanzania where he met with President Samia Suluhu Hassan to discuss improving regional trade and security relations. While delivering an address Thursday before concluding his diplomatic trip, Kagame expressed appreciation for “Tanzania’s willingness to strengthen ties” with his nation and applauded the east African nation for its contributed role towards “finding a lasting solution” to the conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, where M23 rebels have wreaked havoc.
