Israeli Cabinet approves Gaza ceasefire
The Israeli Cabinet has approved a deal which is set to begin Sunday and is focused on halting hostilities in Gaza with Hamas militants while paving way for the release of hostages. This happened two days before the U.S. inaugurates President-elect Donald Trump whose government will be tasked with playing a role in seeing that the ceasefire terms are respected.
