HIV/AIDS advocates join World Mental Health Day commemorations
HIV/AIDS activists who are fighting the stigma that comes with the disease, on October 10 will be joining the rest of the world in commemorating World Mental Health Day — a day set aside by the World Health Organization to raise awareness of mental health struggles across the globe. For insight, VOA’s Jackson Mvunganyi spoke with Brian Ahimbisibwe, a lifelong HIV/AIDS activist and the Global Youth Ambassador for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
