Heavy Flooding Hits Libya's Eastern Region
Hurricane Daniel caused widespread flooding across Libya over the weekend, particularly in the Cyrenaica region in the east of the country. In the city of Al-Marj, torrents flooded the streets and work began to rescue families stuck in their homes. The hurricane uprooted a number of trees in the city of Benghazi, with some of them falling on cars and homes.
