Health Report: Climate Change and Women’s Health
Experts say climate disasters are causing devastation around the world, and the change in climate is projected to increase threats to human health, particularly in lower income populations. Among other things, this affects a range of disease vectors, water quality, and food availability. Many women are often vulnerable to the impact of climate change. For more insight, Africa 54 health correspondent Linord Moudou spoke with Dr. Norah Obudho, the Health Integration and East Africa Director for the organization WomenLift Health.
