Haitian gangs launch new attacks in Port-au-Prince
Haitian gangs launched a fresh attack in the capital, Port-au-Prince, on Tuesday killing an unknown number of civilians. This comes as a United Nations backed mission in the country calls for better protection after gunmen killed a Kenyan police officer in the Caribbean nation. VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Johanna Leblanc, a foreign policy and national security law expert, and a native of Haiti, for the latest developments within the country.
