Ghana's President in Qatar As a Support to His Country’s Team
Ghana's President Akufo-Addo arrived at the World Cup in Qatar ahead of today's match between his nation's Blackstars and European powerhouse Portugal. The president hopes bhis presence at the match will inspire a young team facing off their 2014 World Cup rivals. Ghanaian fans are hoping that a win today will give them the momentum to make it out of a tough group H, where they will have to beat South Korea and Uruguay. VOA’s Host Esther Githui-Ewart spoke with VOA’s Reporter Jackson Mvunganyi.
